I think that is already researched everywhere.
Modern technology institutes are trying to improve the way the human body works.
I will give u a simple example.
Some scientists are thinking of curing some diseases by injecting the human bodies with microscopic robots that carry very small amounts of the required cure that can cure the inflammation or any disorder.
and that's would help people who have a large variety of medicines for many diseases like diabetes and other diseases.
I hope I make my point clear now :)

I think it's possible. As the science and technology are getting more advance today, everything is possible. I hope that superhuman will be created for the benefits of our mankind like stop the global warming, prevent asteroids from colliding with our planet and so on.

Some individual might have already progressed in this way, while these abilities may not be as romanticized as people depict them they are there. If you want to talk more about this, and get specific example of people who can accomplish this.

Technology has already changed human abilities in lots of ways that are now so commonplace, we don't even think about it. How fast can you run compared to how fast you can go in your car? How far can you see with binoculars compared to your naked eye?
