And for the (smug) teenagers who reply that they're not old. It doesn't seem 25 years ago that I was 14, it's surely only last week????????

You'll blink and be 'old'.

I am 41 - a late night makes me feel old. Opting for a cosy night in rather than a wild night out makes me know I am getting old!. Worrying more about the slightest ache and pain and convincing myself I have something serious even though I am very healthy - I hate that!. Thinking about and worrying about what it is like to die. Losing confidence in myself even though just 10 years ago I felt I could take on the world! Seeing wrinkles begin to appear and seriously contemplating botox. Apart from that I feel great!

The upside is that I don't care anymore what people think of me and speak up for myself and not worry too much about the consequences.

true - you do blink and a lot of time has passed!!! I find that my mind/heart has not caught up with my body just yet ... i truly feel like i am still 23 although I will be 50 in about 7 months. things that make me feel old are being stiff when i get up in the AM, clothes that i am too grownup to wear and some of the RAP music makes me feel archaic. i am a very young thinker and find that much younger and much older people gravitate to me for that reason but very few people my own age. hope this helped!!

Getting a pension forecast from The Department of Works and Pensions! Suddenly I thought, heck, I will be able to retire in 7 years 5 months. One day I was in my 30s and now I am 55 years old - scary.....

I am 24, and I feel old when I am in the bed by 8:30 at night on a Friday night. I also feel old when I eat stuff like soup and crackers.

Teenagers because they grew up with the internet and cell phones. I'm only 29 but we didn't really have that stuff when I was a teen.

The daughter of my elder sister has already 3-yr old son. This boy calls my sister grandmother or "lola"... since we're sisters, he's calling me in like manner - that makes me feel old - which i could not accept it since i have a daughter who's only 14-yr old. So every time he does call me 'lola' , i tell him just to call me 'mommy', bcoz i still don';t deserved to be called grandmother......joke!

Well, ain't it funny that even the TEENAGERS tried to sound like they feel old?? No one else has gone out on a limb and said they still feel young. Well, dammit, I ain't grown up yet!!! In the words of John "Cougar" Mellancamp, growin' up only leads to growin' old, which leads to dyin'. And dyin' to me don't sound like that much fun!
