Saw this film about 12 years ago, from what I remember there were 6/7 female friends who had all known each other years & took a holiday together each year in a large log cabin (poss canada?) This time one of their daughters comes too. They have the usual fun, soul searching & fights, and It is not revealed to all of the friends until the end of the film that one of the women has cancer, and knew this would be her last holiday with them all. She leaves them a video to watch after her funeral of them together with a message from her to thank them all for their friendship. It was one of the most uplifting and positive films I have ever seen and I would love to get a copy, but have no idea what it's called or who was in it!
Any help appreciated.

No, not Now & Then, though that is a good film! Think this might have been a "TV movie" rather than a cinema release. Thanks though.

Have actually found the answer elsewhere, Movie is called Chantilly Lace, but unfortunalty not avaiable on DVD!!

Ok. I know a film similer to that, called "Boys on the Side," it was on TV all the time, i watched some and it revealed some woman was ill.

I think it might be Now And Then. The story sounds familiar to the story in this.
