Oh, Girl! I don't know what I did, but I was watching some HBO sexy show before my honey woke up, but now, when I try to use the down button on his remote, and it doesn't work! He has a "Synergy V" remote, and a "Explorer 8000."

He's going to wake up on an hour or so! Can anyone help me, or do I need to find a new boyfriend?

LOL, I think you should wake him up and have him help you. It happens to the best of us.

Are you sure it was working before you thought you broke it? Did you do anything to cause it to not work? It sounds like you feel guilty about this. If you did actually break it while doing something stupid then you can only say what happened and how sorry you are about it. However it sounds like you just went to change the station, and it no longer worked. That is not your fault and do not accept the guilt for it. The batteries could be worn out, the connection might be gummed up with dust, numerous things could cause it to malfunction. In this case, you merely need to tell what happened and that you wish you had not been the one using it when it did happen. About the new boyfriend. Any boyfriend that has a hissy about something breaking or wearing out while you are using it, definitely needs to be reconsidered Things do wear out, malfunction, and stop working. Maybe he has done that (worn out, malfunctioned and stopped working) and you do need a new boyfriend. His reaction will tell you a lot about him. Good Luck

Messing with the remote or the equipment is a serious thing.

Turn down the volume on the TV with the button on the TV.

Find out what type of batteries the remote takes.

Give him the batteries while topless. It will distract him.

OMG!!!!! This is definatley a deal breaker. My husband would kill me if I broke the remote or the cable!!! I say fake a break in. No, no, he might call the police. Just turn it off and let him find it that way, act like you don't know what happened. Be gone on a walk or something when he wakes up, with the tv off.

It's possible you may need new batteries, if the remote just stopped working.

And if it's a real worry, then you DO need to find a new BF, otherwise, let him be clever with technology.
