So I just started on birth control last month. I was on it for a month and took it regularly and on time, but then, like an idiot, I never made it to the pharmacy to refill my prescription. Now its been over a week so what do I do?. Should I just wait until my next period and start again or should I wait a couple of months? I know I've really thrown my body all out of whack and I know it was incredibly stupid of me, but I had a lot going on and the pharmacy isn't exactly close.

There should be instructions that come with your pills telling you what to do if you forget to take them. If it doesn't go up to a week, give your doc a call.

If you have trouble getting to the pharmacy, maybe you should try switching to something that will allow you to fill it for more than one month. I use ortho evra. I get a three months supply at a time.

by no potential heard of a tablet that way. Depo Provera is a shot as quickly as each and every 3 months, Mirena is an IUD placed for 5 years, Paragard is placed for 10 years, and Implanon is placed interior the arm for 3 years. There are disadvantages of weight income with each and every BC yet I ought to declare Depo became the worst... that damaging shot. I had the worst side-outcomes with that crap. And oh yeah, Nuva Ring is placed as quickly as according to month. I merely approximately did it till I remembered i will't because of fact i'm breastfeeding.

Just start taking it as soon as you get the new pack. It just won't be effective for a week. You're starting all over.
