I am quite sad to live in these times. I do think that we have put ourselves in the sad sorry position we find ourselves in today. There is far too much greed and evil and suffering around. I do think when George Bush leaves office, America may have a slim chance of gaining some respect back from the rest of the world

World have negative and positive vibrations. If you don't have positive vibrations, you will be attacked by negative. Create positivity in yourself to fight.

Perhaps not the 'whole world', but certainly the 'developed' nations have lost almost all of their ties to spirituality (and notice I said 'spirituality' and --NOT-- religion)
As far as Bush goes..... He's just the latest in a long line of dick-heads and fµckwits to have held the office in the last century or so. Our big problem in the US is that we have far too many politicians and nowhere -near- enough real Statesmen. The last truly great President we had (IMNSHO) was probably Teddy Roosevelt

We put ourselves into today by what we planned yesterday. I'm having a great time here physically and spiritually, you can (and should too) don't be sad, and don't worry about the rest of the world.

The world is the best place to be, and now is the best time to be here!!!

Julie. The world is in an interesting place spiritually, but I would not call it bad.

We have come here to learn the value of compassion. To learn this lesson completely we must also understand all that is not compassionate. These actions that you are categorizing as bad are important and integral parts of the process.

It is what you and others who are watching this process do with the knowledge you gain from these lessons that is important.

Learn your lessons well.

In the bible it says that we will be living in times hard to deal with... You will see this in the Bible in second timothy chapter:3 verse:one onwards.
Where it reads " But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be lovers of money, self assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slandererers, fierce, without love of goodness, and so forth, everything quoted in this scripture is happening today..
i hope this is of help to you.
But the bible does also offer hope as well.
and i suggest you speak to a jehovahs witness.

Man's inhumanity to man is not new. You know why we shake hands with the right hand? To demonstrate that we don't have a weapon.

Once I read a very short history of civilization in one sitting. Depressing. All that sacking and pillaging....

I hope you are right.

There are pockets of spirituality here and there. Lots of hope that those pockets may have their powerful effect everywhere.

"All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."
Read Romans in the New Testament, that will show you just how bad things are, and have always been, and the only solution for it.
