It's blatantly obvious that the lockstepping, filibustering Republican's in this Congress will not enable any of the Progressive/Pro Middle Class Bills proposed by the Democrats to be passed. The gridlock you see in Congress is all about the Republican's being loyal to their party and not the least beholdent to their constituents. For some reason they seem to think that denying the people legislation and blaming it on an inability of the Democrat's to legislate will be good for them in the next election. Too bad most of us see through this ploy.

You want to see accomplishment? Vote out any Republican legislator in your district in 08'!!

I am all for a shorter work for congress. That gives them less time to pass laws that infringe on our freedoms, raise taxes, disrespect our troops and forcing socialism down our throats.

Take the next 18 months off as far as I am concerned. They are all campaigning & complaining now anyway. Thanks. I saw that ridiculous isn't it. As Bush gave them the worst report card since Truman... they want time off. Time out is more like it.

If bush didn't have the power to veto, the U.S. would already be better.
The remoblicans love ruining this country.
Just like daddy bush, wreck everything and the democrats have to spend their time fixing it and by then the people forget how bad it was and vote in another worthless nonamerican into office to ruin it all over again.
