Beat some eggs, then stir in sugar, flavouring (vanilla, ground nutmeg, chocolate, cinnamon, etc) and milk to taste. Everyone has different ideas on how much of each and on what flavourings and many add alcohol (assuming that you drink this).

It sounds to me like it is just the same recipe as what we call an egg flip. Put an egg in a blender, add a cup of milk, a dessertspoon of sugar and a little vanilla essence. Blend until smooth and frothy. Kids love it just like that or put in some rum for adults.

For a single serving, you can use about one egg, a tablespoon or two of sugar, about a cup of milk, and some vanilla. You can also add nutmeg or cinnamon if you want. Amounts can vary according to your taste.
