Americans donate more money to more causes than any other nation in the world. But, just because someone is rich, that doesn't mean that person is obligated to share that money with anyone. In the case of Bill Gates, he earned that money himself. He doesn't have to give anything to anyone (although he does donate a lot). All Americans have the same chance to create their own wealth. Granted, most of us don't become rich. But I don't hold a grudge against the Gates, Carnegie's, and others in the country who worked to get what they have. In fact it is those same people, (like Gates), that produce the things we use (like computers) that create vast numbers of new employment and items from which other people can make money. In most cases, not all, if someone has always been poor, it's not because the system has failed. It's because that person has failed. Our economy is set up on work and productivity, not hand-outs. Hillary needs to learn that too.

Go to communist russia. Have you ever tried to get a job from a poor person. Everything is not fair in life. Ask the Kennedys for some of their money or Ross Perot and good luck.

That has nothing to do with being jealous, I understand what you mean. If I were in a position where I could help many people with my wealth I would, but not everyone is like that. Some of these rich people may not share their wealth because they would rather keep it in their own family to pass down through generations.

You are wrong. The rich do give to the poor. Bill Gates and Warren Buffett have pledged as much as 60 billion dollars.

because as one guy quoted, behind every great wealth is a slew of crimes, people who are willing to commit violence against another for wealth has no concern for the poor unless they can get something for themselves out of it.

violence is defined in the dictionary as denying someone's rights, property or causing physical harm. people are poor because of these bad people who are greedy for power and money beyond anything they could ever use. they covet what belongs to others, money, property, prestige, you, your very life, or person, your abilities and your freedoms.

so these people do not care about others, only themsleves, honest caring people don't generally get very wealthy (unless by inheritance or lottery or something) because they don't use violence against another, they try to get wealth legitimatly, trouble is when they do the government takes most of it via heavy regulations and taxation. just ask some ranchers or farmers or business owners who try to play by the rules how much wealth they have accumulated without breaking some law somewhere or bribing the right people or knowing the right people who can give them a break on some regulation or tax that they have to follow.

ask how much wealth anyone has built without cheating or robbing someone (tho legally but unconstitutional) or doing some other dishonest thing? there are some pretty rich people but not wealthy like the rothschiles or rockerfellers and other big wealthy families that are in an inclusive club like the federal reserve or mega corporations, or other clubs like the bilderberg club. their goals are not wealth, they have that already, their goals are power over others, which is the ultimate selfishness wanting to rule over others. money property etc are just their tactics to get what they covet, you, your freedoms and fruits of your labors.

and it is good to remember that these same owners of corporations use the legislations to get laws passed that prevent others from wealth accumulation, that is why taxes always go up, why corporations are manipulating the governments to get lower wages, via off shoring, illegal immigration hr one visas abuses etc. and why they regulate smaller businesses so much or create competition that they cannot compete with and go out of business.

any efforts to help poor people like africa is thwarted by these same corporations and governments who are corrupt through and through. tho some help does manage to get in, it is far below what is needed.

so they will do whatever it takes to keep people poor and starving after all it is a nice population control policy that doesn't require any hands on or getting their hands dirty for others to see. 150,000 babies aborted daily, war causes dead every 102 seconds, a child dies 50,000 per day due to starvation or related causes, a murder every 36 seconds. so they aer just loving it since they consider most poor people to be vermin like rats or something. even the oceanic guy, can't spell his name, jacque coustau said the population needs to be reduced 350,000 per day.

they have already stated their desire to reduce populations to around 2 billion. not because it hurts the enviroment, but rather it is easier to control slaves when their numbers are not so great and easier to watch them, moniter them, and basically control populations etc. I have heard the number as low as 500,000 just enough to the work that is necessary.

the rich are rich for the most part because they worked hard, smart, and managed the money wisely (some inherited, of course) the poor are so because some prefer the entitlement checks, do not manage the resources wisely, and prefer not to work long hard hours

Bill Gates and Warren Buffett are giving about $25,000,000,000 to the poor. Some people would rather leave their money to their children and grandchrilden.

A common mis-conception. Millionaires and Billionaires actually contribute huge amounts of money, they just do it quietly. Bill Gates, for example, is one of the largest contributors to many charities. So there.

Actually most do help others. Were it not for rich people many charities would not exist. Besides, who do you think pay all the taxes? 10% of the people pay 90% of the taxes.
