Basically, if you think abortion should be legal then you are saying that it is ok to go and kill somebody, Many pregnant girls have abortions because of one-night stands, or because their boyfriend left them after finding out that they are pregnant. Think of it this way- would you kill your baby after it was born, if your boyfriend left you? No You wouldnt because you wouldnt want to kill your own child, So why destroy it's life before hand?

In Some cases there should be exceptions for instances if you been raped, you wouldnt want your child to grow up knowing that their father is in prison for rape, So i guess it would be ok to have an abortion in that situation, Or if the Fetus is growing in the wrong place and it has to be removed no dout about it. << There is 2 more paragraphs before this, it wont fit them in, Please help me start the next paragraph... Being for or against it doesn't need to factor into it. If somebody chooses to have one they should only be able to do it during the first month or even earlier. My wife and I had a baby that was born 23 weeks into the pregnancy. That is one week before the legal age limit of abortion. She is now 7 years old and doing great. I don't know for sure when life begins, but at 23 weeks, my daughter surely was a living person.

To make the essay more interesting, find a quote from a woman who had an abortion. This will show that you used outside sources and did your research. Find a quote that is a few sentences long and describe the woman's position from her quote. This will take up 1 whole paragraph.
Also, make another paragraph that tells why abortion should be legal. Even though your essay is against abortion, you need to show that you have done research of why people agree with abortion.
Or here's another idea...Write about the different kinds of abortion that you can get (vacuum aspiration, RU486) and tell how they work and how the procedures are routine surgeries that doctors have perfected with little error. Then find another quote from a woman who had each type of abortion. Finding quotes makes the essay more personal and interesting.

You could discuss the different types of abortions, and how some may be better than others. I know in some they have to scrap the inside of the uterus. Some abortions can cause infertility or a great number of other problems for future pregnancies..
You can also discuss how some girls have been lied to by abortion clinics or not told the full procedure and what to expect.
Many women experience deep depression and have feelings of great loss after an abortion.

You could do a paragraph on the procedure and what can go wrong, and maybe also a topical one on the fact that currently (in the UK at least), abortion is legal until 24 weeks, but with current advances in medical technology, babies can survive being born that early. So maybe a paragraph on how and who decides when a foetus stops being a foetus and becomes a potential person, if you see what I mean.
Have a look at some pro-life websites I'm sure they'll have heaps of starting points for you.

do you have to be pro/ against or neutral? You could include pics from the uterus at so many weeks (the latest date i think is 13wks before it starts gettin complecated) when a baby is quite well formed. You could argue for in genetic input from the father (mother being a rape victim) and the life a child would have with a mentally ill parent (mum or dad) rather than being aborted. Maybe the option of adoption and its flaws-the growing sex trades etc good luck

I have had two abortions, and i deeply wished that i had kept them, as i loved the father who help me make them. I would be totally against abortions, but it all depends on the situation the couple or girlfriend / boyfriend is going through. I know the father of the 2 abortions would have been a wonderful father, as he put his hand on my belly and basically make his hand go up and down, like a heart beat. i wished i had gone to the doctor sooner than i did so then i could have told the father that i was pregnant with his kids. Thats the term we used (kids) To this day i still think about what they would look like and what their ambitions would be. I still love them as if i had given birth to them myself. The father of the 2 abortions would have loved them like he loved me. I don't think he would have liked to be called dad father or other terms kids give there parents.

depending on how far you wish to go with the "some cases" there is also late term abortion due to the baby not being able to survive because of a defect like trisomy 13(?) or a genetic heart defect.
It is a hard one because I'm pro choice, but I'm not saying what your beliefs are either, You could say something about stem cell research and that it is done with foetal stem cells which are gathered from aborted foetuses to cure other ailments? Not sure Hun it is a tricky one.

For reasons best know to the person concerned, it is their personal choice.Two minutes of pleasure and a teenager becomes a mother a single parent, when she her self is still a child. May have been used and abused. She has a life time of pain and suffering and sorrow.Sex education is a must for all children 13 and above.Cause most are ignorant of the consequences.
Everymorning when you have eggs for breakfast you are aborting and killing the life of so many chickens.

so what youre trying to say about abortion is- its an ethical moral debate versus genetic/health reasons.
that already is prejudice and discriminating in dividing abortion against abortion.
you cant argue it both ways.
why should one woman be accepted as having an abortion for health reasons and the other woman not because he boyfriend left her?? all women are treated equal and respected under the umbrella of abortion.
an embryo is apart of the mother and its never killing somebody as the embryo is not a somebody but the POTENTIAL of a somebody,
im sorry but life is impartial and life hurts and thats that.
