Making a grindind noise under the hood occasionally. I know people have done this, but I don't know how to do it. Is it just as simple as pulling the fuse?

NO , NOT A GOOD IDEA, ABS WOKS ON A PUMP SYSTEM, IT'S A BOX WITH METAL LINES FROM YOUR MASTER CYLINDER, TO THIS PUMP, WHICH THEN DISTRIBUTE THE BRAKE FLUID EVENLY, AND ALSO PULSATES WHEN YOU SLAM ON THE BRAKES, IT COULD LOCK UP YOUR WHEELS DON'T LET THE GROUND BE WET THEN YOU ARE GONNA SLIDE INTO SOMEONE, YOU SAY YOU HAVE GRINDING NOISE SOMETIME,JUST GET IT CHECKED OUT, DON'T PUT YOUR LIFE AT RISK FOR A FUSE.

the "grinding" noise is probably the ABS doing its job.
the pulsing of the brakes occurs at a very rapid rate and can be perceived as grinding.

If it occurs on totally dry pavement then there is an issue with the system. Stopping on wet pavement, grass, leaves, mud, gravel, snow, etc. may all trigger the system to do what it is suppose to do.

I don't know about disabling it.

You could simply keep driving with the ABS check light on. But you still need to have your brakes checked for worn parts etc.
