In Hindu mythology karma is summed up as the law of cause and effect. In simple terms it means"you reap what you sow"
Karma is the effect of all deeds actively created in past, present and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life.
What comes around is the fruits of the deed..could be pain or happiness depending on one's action

I believe life is only as complicated as you make it. And so doing something which in society is labeled as wrong will then cause the person to suffer the consequences of their actions whether sooner or later- which people like to call Karma.
I reckon I have my own take on what Karma is, so maybe it isn't the exact definition. :)

Have you ever heard the expression" They deserved exactly what they got" That is another way of saying what goes around comes around, for every action there is a reaction and bad deeds reap bad rewards, as good reaps good rewards.
Karma simplistically defined here is what you do in this life follows you into the next life. Course this only works if you believe in reincarnation or Buddhism. Basically each life is a step towards becoming an enlightened human being, it is a process, an evolution.

I firmly believe that karma is the power of one to influence the out come of another be it action or pain. It is not absolute in that we can change the out come from bad to good by the deeds we do. If you take something from some one karma says you will lose something. If you found someone on the street that need food and gave it to them then you put good out and therefore change the bad that you started with when you took something

I believe that Karma is a Law of our universe... Harmony is a current of energy that flows through the universe... when you bring pain to another human being you create dis harmony in the universe and there for affecting the energy currents that flows... When you do this you now have a "karmic debt" that has to be pad in order to even the imbalance of energy you have caused.... That's a law that's there to maintain harmony in our universe... What comes around could be anything... but the actions you choose when karma dose come back around determines weather you have paid your debt off or increased the amount you owe to the universe....

This is what I say about karma about Karma:
People do bad things like cause Fear, hate, racism, extremism, war, and anger, These things return tenfold.
People mess things up until they need to start over again, they will continue making terrible mistakes, learning and starting over again until they get it right.
If you do good, good comes back to you.
Honesty brings rewards, so does patience

The law of cause and effect is known in philosophical
texts also. There is a very specific law in science.
"For every action, there is an equal and opposite
reaction". If you write it in English, it becomes
Newton's Law. If you write it in Sanskrit, it becomes
Law of Karma.
