As long as your computer, is not a DELL or Compaq, they require specific hard drives, sold by them.

Or you can make your new hard drive a slave drive. Keep your 80 gb HD for your operating system and your new one for whatever else you want. If you have just IDE you'll need a cable with 2 plugs on one end. Better yet if you have a SATA, you can just add the new one no problem.

Sure! easy. must re-install OS on the new HD. You don't have to delete old data but keep the old HD together with the new.
