I do not fake a smile if I don't feel like smiling.
I have a strong dislike in all emotions that are fake.

The fake of smiles is a recreational activity. If you feel like it, then smile away, but if you don't feel like it, try to not fake it. Sometimes, the smile is a theatheric stimulation, causing some people to regard it as a valuable gesture. Some people smile to do some good, some to do bad, some smile to be glad.

A fake smile is a fake smile, anyone can see it for what it is. It's better to not smile at all, at least then you are being real.

a fake smile is better than not smiling at al because it shows the person is trying. I prefer real smiles though.

Fake smile is so........fake. I'd like to see a genuine smile. But if a person is sad but trying to smile then I'd appreciate the effort....

i would say yes, i perfer a fake smile rather than no smile.( because usually when i don't know someone i sometime smile quickly at them; especially when we make eye contact and continue doing whatever i was doing);
