Bush has a line, where he seems to say that the world, entire world, is a very dangerous place in which to live. Conclusion? The conclusion to his assumption is that America must be strong militarily and that we must fight our enemies, wherever we may find them.

He, also, said that he was the war President! The question is: Does he really know what he is doing or are we headed for another great and massive war!???

No.

It is important to be strong, but with great power, comes great responsibility.

The middle east is the big threat that all in the west face. It is an area ruled by cruel dictators. What we should be doing is to bring about democracy there. Dictatorships are overthrown in revolutions, look at Iran as an example of where a dictatorship was overthrown and the people grew to hate the west. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Ajax

The problem, is that Bush, and other western leaders are not supporting democracy enough. We are allies with dictators in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman. How is that promoting democracy? If we in the west are seen as trying to bring about a fairer more just world for all, then we are more likely to make the world a better place.

Military strength is important, but just think how many Iraqi and coalition lives would have been saved if we did not need to have gone to war in Iraq for example. It is important to win wars, but even better not to have had to fight them in the first place.

Yeah, Bush is almost certain of what he's doing; it's just hard to predict what other heads of state will do. He may not have realized how devisive it would be to declare war on terror, as this seems to be a pretty logical thing to do: no government wants anarchists or extremist groups undermining their policy. He was aware, however, that invading Iraq would "stir the pot", so to speak, and I would agree that we need a strong military in order to be taken seriously and or respected throughout the world, not to mention survive as a country!

PS: It's never Mr. Bush, it happens to be President Bush. Not that I'm a kool-aid drinker or anything, but that is his title... he is smarter than you. Get over yourself!

You're kidding, right?

If someone can't see from fuckup after fuckup after fuckup (and that's putting a good spin on it) that George Bush is in way over his head, then they're just blind.

George Bush is a man of mediocre abilities who has been bailed out of jam after jam in his life by those with money, primarily his father and other oil interests.

His oil company was a bust. Daddy engineered a buyout of that.

He insider traded while at another oil company. Daddy swept that under the rug.

The Texas Rangers were pathetic while he was the owner.

The Presidency is just the latest act in the George Bush Follies.

If Mr.Bush does not know what he was doing, he could not have come up to the stature of the President of a Great Country.
Probably, you and many are not able to catch up with what he has with in him.
Every body is great, an administrator, a critic, a citizen,a watch Dog, a Donor, a Receiver, a savior I repeat everyone on this earth has a base to say he is right and let him push up in his own way.
It is also true that world doesn't stop functioning, in spite of loosing any stalwart of any caliber.

So let us stop criticizing and wait for our day.

Bush is out for the rich. If another war will help the rich, well look out. Bush to me, seems to not want to catch (Binladden,Osama, may have spelled wrong). Also to, if a country like Iraq can't get along with it's own kind, then how are we to help them? I say pull out and leave it with them. But also to, there is money, and oil involved, and Bush is in the oil business you know. He has a few wells on his property in Texas.

I LIKE THE QUESTIONS THAT REALLY PISSES ME OFF. YOU HAVE ASKED THE ONE QUESTION THAT GETS RIGHT UNDER MY SKIN.
Mr. Bush could use another lesson in civics. He has forgotten the big one. WE the PEOPLE of UNITED STATES.
No where does it say ; we must com-form to his way of thinking.
We use to have a democracy that was inviting until the Bushes administration.
We have a voice that he is refusing to hear.
our war is here not in Iraq its here.

No, and just wait until we get the bill for his war of choice. It will cost each and every payer $8,000 dollars. Never has a man that was given so much, returned so little
