I've recently replaced a laptop screen ... it works perfectly but... the main video cable doesnt reach?

any sugestion on what to do now
the main video cable is only about 3 cm off conecting
can i get an extention if so where
i've got a picture so ask if that helps at all !!!
please please help

Sounds like it's the WRONG screen, the same model of laptop might evolve with defferent versions, and the serial No is the only way the manuf knows which is which.

Contact whoever sold the screen to you and complain !
