Ruby is a spunky, gorgeous classic. Short and sweet, yet it manages to be quite intriguing. A lovely choice. :)
I'd avoid pairing it with another word name, however. Ruby Jasmine brings to mind an all-too-literal "red flower" image, and combos along those lines tend to come across as quite cheesy, to be honest. At the very least, it makes it seem the parents were ignorant of the fact that both Ruby and Jasmine even ARE common things, making the name in full appear less-than-thought-out.
If you absolutely adore the sound of Ruby Jasmine, or if the middle name has some personal meaning, you might consider Ruby Jessamine as an alternative. Same sound, and it is a variant of Jasmine, but far less literal an association. ;)
Otherwise, you might simply wish to keep weighing your middle name options. Hope that helps!

Ruby Jasmine is a lovely name, but bear in mind that Ruby is number 4 on the most popular baby names list. There will be a lot of them in school in 5 years time.....

Sorry, I don't care for the combo.
Both names are nice seperate from each other.
If you have researched the internet many times and still can't come up with a name you like for a boy then take a breather from it. Think about what you are looking for in a name and go from there.
