The naswer to this question obviously depends on many factors; the distance you will be travelling. Where are you sailing from? What is your intended arrival port? What is the weather predicted. Trust you will be taking a great circle route? Anticipated currents? (favorable and unfavorable) All of these factors will effect your time.

From NY to London it is about 3343 nautical miles and @ 10 knots this would be, in theory, about 334.3 hours (Distance in nautical miles/speed in knots) = Time.

334.3 hours / 24 hrs/day = 13.929 days.

13.929 days = 13 days - 55.74 hours

13d - 55h - 44.4m

Good luck and strap some exta fuel onboard because i don't think the 42ft marine trader has the tankage to hold enough fuel for this trip.

Since your under power 10 knts if there is a head wind of 10 knts and a current of 2 knts your not moving much forward so best plan your trip to run with the wind & current>Marine Trader tawler dosen't carry that much fuel for that trip that long>For the price have it shipped>
