I bought The Chimes on my front porch at such a shop. A Nickleby more than I want to spend on some folks, but many have Great Expecations. Ebenezer if I had more money, but its all in a piggy bank and I couldn't Cratchit open.

LOL..not the best in the world..but I tried.

She could try something with a twist of difference this year. How about asking Mr Copperfield over to share the festivities? David always loves to look at her Pictures from Italy!

These are Hard Times to find gifts. She could go to London or Leeds- but that's a Tale of Two Cities so for now I'll just suggest she gets Our Mutual Friend to help her. We could go for a drink afterwards- Oliver Twist of lemon in mine.
