Everyone looksbetter on the net?

does anyone else think thats true cause isee some really really pretty girls on here but i just wonder i neversee those type of girls anywhere else but on the net it kinda makes me sad causei know ill never be that pretty or thin

i was talking about real life photos lol

To some extent I think that can be true.
If you photoshop your picture and purposefully make yourself look a whole lot better than you think you are, sure you're going to look different. :P Otherwise, you'll look the same.

I'm pretty self-conscious of this small gap I have in the left side of my teeth, so whenever I have a photo of myself, I normally make sure that the gap isn't showing and such. Recently I said to one of my friends, "God, I hate this gap..." and they just stared at me and said "What gap?" - they hadn't even noticed it before, and I had thought it was the most noticeable thing ever. :P

I suppose what I'm trying to say is, sometimes some people worry about the fact that they look different/better on the 'net because they only put up good pictures of themselves, but in the end, if you saw someone in real life who had only previously known you online, the likelihood is that they won't say, "OMG U LUK SO UGLY OFFLINE" - they'll probably end up thinking you look even BETTER in real life. ^_^

About the whole "I'll never be that pretty or thin" - don't worry about it. You're probably actually really pretty; we just tend to sometimes look at our flaws. I think I'm decent, but then when I compare myself to really pretty people, I get sad sometimes too, but in the end it doesn't really matter - no one is perfect and there's always going to be someone out there whom we think are prettier. Don't compare yourself to other girls and think you'll never be as pretty or thin - we're all individuals and we all have something special about ourselves. ;]

I look the same (well, other than black and white photos)

I loo nice, people tell me I should model, but I shrug it off, I'm not into modeling, I have insecurities, I don't see what some people see, but if I'm dressed up I think I look nice. Plus I am working on getting fit and healthy (HEALTHY diet and exercise).

If you let me see a photo of you or want tips I have them about exercise, diet, and makeup/hair/clothes.

But first, be yourself! Though the best you (that includes imperfections, love them! =)

OF COURSE people are prettier on the net because who wouldn't put their best pictures up? They have the angles! Who cares if you won't be thin? Show off your curves! Who cares if you don't think you're pretty? Get some estrogen pills and some make-up[!

not really. i think they look the same. but only cuz im a 'i dont think anyone in the world is ugly' sort of a person so thats why. and i bet ur good looking. send us a picture and we'll tell u how good u r.

theres a lot of people who will put up their best picture. but there are some people who are actually pretty or good looking. dont ever be sad just because of how you look =)
