If polygamy became legal, I think I'd consider a second husband. The first one would continue his role has my friend and lover, but the second one would be good for housework and other chores and sex whenever my other husband is not interested. My current partner and I would benefit because he would never have to do housework anymore and I would benefit because I'd get sex whenever I wanted and the other guy would benefit because he could have the joy of being a homemaker, I wouldn't make him get a job, but I would give him an allowance for food and what not and he'd get to have sex with me 'cause I'm just that awesome. Sound good or what?

He's not a slave, he would be a stay at home husband!! Just like you stay at home moms, but I wouldn't be having children. He can adopt or find a surrogate if he likes...

Isn't there enough drama and misunderstanding with only one guy in your life?
That's what I don't understand about polygamy. Everyone talks about the benefits, but that's one more ego you have to satisfy, one more person you have to please.....the downfalls and the problems get multiplied too.
Personally I love my fiancee and I would never replace him (or have someone to substitute for him). I think it's disgusting. Marriage is sacred...based on love. It shouldn't be expanded just so that your dishes are done in a more timely manner.

ok for some people sure but dealing with 2 guys in the house can be tiring think of all the work wives do for 1 husband and then double that up to people with 2 husbands

You don't need any husband. What you need is a lover and a personal assistant. A husband is not about sex or helping out house work. A husband is for those who share the same vision and want to build a family.
