Piano concerto in C major by Ralph Berkowitz
This work is not cataloged in his list of compositions. There were 32 transcriptions by him published but no concerto. His unpublished papers are at the International Piano Archives at the University of Maryland.
Ralph Berkowitz (1910- ) is a Honorary Director of Chamber Music Albuquerque.

Tanja, are you sure it exists, at least in published form? There is no record of it in the master catalogues of published works at the Library of Congress and the British Museum, both of which are usually pretty definitive: if something's not in one, then it's usually in the other. None of the biographical articles on Berkowitz I've tracked down mention any concerto either. If you have any further detail, or maybe an indication of the circumstances that prompted you to go looking for it in the first place, that would probably be a great help here.

I love odd piano concertos but have never heard either of this composer or of the fact that he may have written a piano concerto. A quick search hasn't helped, other than to reveal that he was the long time accompanist of Patigorsky (sp?) the cellist
