There are a lot of arguments, such as Aristotle's prime mover argument, that concludes that there must be a starting point, or a source for all things. I think that there most likely is.
But why is that thing intelligent? Isn't intelligence a way of relating to a universe greater than yourself? By definition, there is nothing Greater than God. so what is his 'brain' like? Our intelligence is made of matter, and possibly a soul, both of which require a force outside of ourselves. What force is outside of God? On what universal chalkboard are his thoughts recorded on?

Well, your pondering is very interesting. Since there is no scientific way to examine spiritual entities, there seems to be no answer to that question. We can assume that God is beyond physics, so the way he "thinks" is probably something unimaginable. I say that, because most of the things you can imagine are composed of things you see, hear, taste, smell with your senses. I myself believe that god's intelligence has more to do with feelings.

Many questions were asked in the ancient Hindu texts about
the nature of Parama Atama (infinite soul, or Almighty) and
Atma (soul). In the olden days, Gurus used to put these
questions to disciples to test their knowledge.
What is the constituent material of Almighty? All created
materials are subject to decay and annihilation, Almighty
is above the influence of decay and annihilation. He
is eternal.
Then is Almighty a void? In terms of material
characteristics, Almighty is void (Soonya).
Can this lead to the logic that Almighty is not there?
No. Almighty is there. He is consciousness, the infinite
consciousness. The Atma which is a finite piece of Almighty,
according to Advaita Vedanta - the personal consciousness.
Soul was created in the likeness of Infinite Soul.
Since Atma is only a minute piece of Almighty, is it
subjected to annihilation? No. Atma is also eternal.

I believe that God thinks through us. The diversity of human thought and intelligence is amazing so if each of us are just one little cell in the mind of God, we can carry his thoughts for him.
I don't believe that there has to actually be a force outside of God. In short, "God" is "everything" including us. If we are merely cells in the body of God then we are in a way "God" ourselves as a collective or whole.
If there is a source of all things, that souce could also be termed God.

Well...for those that subscribe to the "theory"...God created everything and knows everything.
I mean, EVERYTHING there is. All the information on Wikipedia, all the information contained in the entire internet, all the 5 million species of animals, everything there is to know in every subject in this world....He knows.
He "wrote the book" on it all - as creator He needs no outside source to validate His intelligence.
But that's simply it. He's master of all and would be perfect in every way. He could come to earth and shoot a 59 with only a 7-iron and a putter, then turn around and beat Russia's greatest chess champion in less than 5 minutes.
You can't win.
He knows...... He knows.......

You are this chalk board that you are speaking of. You just can't access all of the knowledge because you are currently wearing the physical blinders.

if you think of god existing in an higher-dimensional state then us, than it's easier to percieve him as transcending all of our relm, as well as having the ability to compose/conduct events on our plane. This can make sense of the "infinaty of god"
