It's as easy as not trying to be one. Coz if you do, you'll end up worrying yourself too much of your actions as to how to impress the people and improve the economic status of the country. It's just like impersonating Erap or GMA, trying to be the best president the country has had.

Basically, you can't do that much as a president if just for a week. Although, as a former citizen who became the president in an instant, you would have a clue of what your fellow citizens really need. Reducing the prices of commodities, oil, fare and the like. Reducing the tax, not remove it, as it still helps the government earn for future projects and pay for our debts. But reducing it would also lessen the burden of the citizen. Maybe this would be the best thing for me to do as a president in a week.

Nonetheless, there is nothing really better than the people to have reality check on themselves also. Maybe it's not the fault of the government after all. =p

Effective crackdown on terrorist organizations within the Philippines, eliminate corruption by severely punishing corrupt officials (but not by executing them, like those savages in China), rescind Estrada's pardon, bold economic initiatives to reverse the "brain drain" of skilled, educated workers. A tall order, I know. But why can't the Philippines achieve the successes of Taiwan, Japan, and Korea?

I agree with Fraginal Noypi. The Philippines must follow China's example. Death to all corrupt public officials. Hang them all. No exemption.

By this, all government officials would think twice before doing their dirty deeds.
