OK.. so I'm a good swimmer and I want to stay fit. Will I need goggles and a flash light?

most of the ocean around india (that i have seen in two and a half years of travel there) is not clear. there are few places to snorkle. there are islands though, where the diving and snorkelling are said to be world class ie lakshadweep, off kerala and andamans , accessible from chennai and calcutta. gulf of mannar also has diving and snorkelling but i have researched a little and am told that the water there has low visibility. i am trying to find out, myself, when the best time to go there, is. it is in tamil nadu, south east.

If swim wit me, you need gogles to keep you eye in head, but no light, jus flash!
