What do you think? Should I come over first and get a job? And then send for my wives? Can my boyfriend come too? How does it work? I want my whole family to come as well as our pet wallaby?

What stops you from enquiring the embassy?

There is no explicit law about gays here AFAIK.

If you are a pilot or so, bringing your family is not such a big deal. I see many such families in the cities. The airline that employs you will help in this regard.

Anyway, why would you like to come here? Once you are an Indian, you won't be thinking of money in terms of other currencies. Many things that are considered basic need for quality or safety in the 'first world' comes at a whopping price here.

Most of our roads are ridden with pot holes. The remaining ones are unsafe for driving at anything more than 60KPH for the fear of running over people of the thickly populated villages that the roads pass through.

Thanks to the cheap exporting of many polluting jobs like dying, tanning and such by the 'first world', our rivers are polluted too much to be safe for anything useful. People in cities are having to buy water and this is spreading to smaller cities and towns as well. We have lots of unannounced powercuts. Sizeable part of our population does not have access to electricity at all. For your kids' higher education, you have to send them abroad. We have a severe shortage of professors.

If there is anything that we have and the 'first world' lacks, going by a recent survey, we have a highly optimistic population. Over 70% of parents here beleive, and, are determined to see their kids better off than themselves. In the 'first world' that percentage is around 50.

Gay is fine, family is fine, but you gotta live for like 5 years or something before you can apply for a citizenship. It is not easy to get a citizenship, but if you can spare some money, things can move a little faster. You know what I mean.
