Yes, and now Im going to do something about it.
What should we do about it? You just made one more person think about it - and do something about it.
I donate quarterly to Habitat For Humanity, The United Way, and multiple other causes, but if its not in my face, I forget - no, thats not the right word... I get lost in how hard my own life is that I forget how good my little is, and that giving need not be money, but just donating time and skill.
REMIND US.

Of course we should do alot more. Everyday, we have it so good. like the song " Another day in Paradise ".
Get online to get a list of charities. Or your local church or
government. ( City ) Red Cross, food pantries etc.
It's a start. And a great Question.

No one cares about the homeless, i think the shelters need to be more safe.
I had a neighbour who had a good career, made good money, he had cancer, no insurance, lost everything and wound up homeless, people dont realize it can happen to anyone.
