For many I am sure that is a personal issue that they would like to keep private. I can honestly admit that I do not do that! I worked in a hospital and I saw many women and men who engaged in anal sex on a regular basis create fistulas because of it, or were unable to close their sphincter muscle because of it, and were forced to wear adult diapers because of it. ( we are talking people in their late 20's ...not 50's or 60's ...etc..)
It really is up to the individual to decide if they are willing to do it. As for me, I like being able to make it to the restroom and not poop all over myself.

Not many people like to talk about THAT with people except their partner. (Except during that one episode of Sex and the City, but that has almost zero bearing in reality.) That's the one kind of sex that isn't being splashed all over the public square.
