those who are answering Nash are only doing so because they don't know who John Stockton is. We're talking about the ALL-TIME assist leader in the game of basketball. He couldn't possibly have gotten all 15,806 assists off just one person. That's ridiculous. Don't get me wrong Steve Nash is great but he's just not John Stockton.

John Stockton by far. Nash wishes he had some cahunas like Stockton. Stockton played D! Nash doesn't. Stockton hardly turned the ball over and Nash does! Stockton anyday of the week. Now I wouldn't want Stockton on my team becuase their were much more athletic players, but for consistency it goes to Stockton. Also Stockton never had periods of crappiness. How long did it take Nash to become a marginal point guard? 4-5 years. He still is marginal now he doesn't score enough, he doesn't play defense, and he turns the ball over way too much.

did anyone ask about Johnson? i didnt think so. Nash is better. Nash is getting his assists from more then one person, unlike Stockton who got his from Malone. Stockton was tuff. but Nash has better 3 point and free throw %. he makes things happen full court. Stockton played a 2 man game. Nash====

Stockton because he is one of the toughest players to ever play the game. Plus those shorts...cmon you have to be hardcore to wear those.
