In 1978 my father purchased 3 parcels of land, that equaled about 80 acres. (he eventually acquired another 4 parcels, for a total of 140 acres) The original purchase included an Eleven Acre Lake..
A Natural spring fed, Artesian Lake.
Divers have gone 50 feet in parts and not found the bottom..
It sits about 49 miles as the crow flies, to Mount Rainier. At an elevation of approx. 175 feet above Sea Level. Bordering, the Nisqually Indian Reservation, on one side of the Nisqually river, and Ft. Lewis Army Base on the other. This is in western Washington.
Me, dad, my older brother, and one other gentleman were down at the log cabin, and mind you, the other side of the lake, had been clear cut, about 15 years earlier.
Again, eleven acres is not all that big, i can swim across it.
We all watched something, walk upright along the ridgeline, that ran parrallel to the far end of the lake.
It walked with a stride. It was TALL. I dont recall a real serious swing in its arms, more like they were bent a bit, at the elbow, more for balance. Not a gorilla like, sway. I recall a fairly straight posture. I remember his stride was not staggered or stumbling. No detour.. Which was odd, cuz whenever I walk thru the woods, im always stepping on a rock, or moss, or twigs or something that causes a little hesitation here, or a bit of a stumble, there.
.. But this thing was smooth.
I dont have a clue how long it took him to actually go from the left side to the right, (about 80-100 yards) it seemed like forever but I would imagine it to be about 90 seconds.. Maybe a Minute 45 seconds..
It was huge, and solid, and moved methodical.. Just straight, focused and then..... Out of sight.. *smile*
A kind'a cool thing, the direction it was headed towards, was Native sacred burial grounds.
.. Old growth forest, for hundreds of square acres..
That was the one and only time. I was 12 years old then. I just turned 41, and i will never forget it, for as long as i live..

only on television hon, and if I ever saw anything even close to Bigfoot I'd probably never live to tell about it cause I'd drop dead of fright. If there is such a thing I wonder why none of us humans have never been kidnapped by one of them.

A former friend of mine is Bigfoot, until he takes his over-sized shoes off, revealing that he is compensating for something.
