I've just purchased a monistat 1 combination pack.
When I opened it the applicator barrel was not wrapped. It doesn't mention anything on the directions about unwrapping it, but you would think, it should be wrapped because you are inserting it inside...
Also, the ovule insert was sealed completely in the foil package, but it didn't have the little paper backing it is showing in the directions. Don't know whether to trust it or not??
I've called the 1-800 number but they're currently closed. It is way passed my bedtime and I was hoping I'd have this taken care of..this sucks balls.

I would recommend taking it back to the pharmacy where you purchased it and let them know what happened so that you can get a replacement.

I hate to say it but it looks like you need to make another trip to the store.

Why risk it?
It is your health, so it's probably worth it to get a new one.
