Since I have the luxury of sitting down, I just look around. Maybe see if my nails need clipped, look over at the garbage to see if it needs emptied, look outside the window to see what the weather is, make sure the faucet in the sink isn't dripping, etc. I can do a lot in 10 seconds.

i always ALWAYS look at the pattern on the tiles... i now know the pattern like i know the back of my hand but i still look at the tiles, especially when i #2... i focus harder on the tiles
