I know that every couple is different, but still from your own experience how long should it take? Ive been dating for 3 months and been talking about family and stuff. I wouldnt say that i know for sure that i want to marry him but wanna know when he might propose( hopefully its gonna be romantic cuz he's not). I asked him when he thought a guy should ask girl to marry him and he said from 6 to 12 months dating. He already finished college a few years ago and has stable salary. I just went to college and work part time. We re in our 20. Also, how long do u think is enough to date in order to know your partner and be ready to have healthy longlasting family? Thanx a lot!!! All oppinions about this topics r welcome:)

Oh i know how he sounds at night and I love it even more than when he awake:) We see each other almost everyday....so not like on weekends and thats it:)
2-3 years?? he says a guy will never marry a girl if he didnt propose after 2 years. i agree. Also many ppl dont want to have families at all or until they r like 30-35 years old. I think its wrong.

tucky. U r absolutely right. Thats the problem we r facing in our time. howeve, I thing i might be lucky one cuz he think family is very important. we dont live together and never will without marriage:)

LOL I lived with a guy for 4.5 years and he didnt ask me to marry him, so i guess he was comfortable living like this. Now I wont do the same mistake. We will live together during vacation and sleepover, but no living together without marriage! Believe me u r hurting your loved one by not asking her. Thanx anyway:)

I would say 2-3 years or so, when he is ready for marriage and you are too. He should only date a person if he is looking for a woman to marry. You only know each other for 3 months, what is the rush here?

My hubby asked me to marry him a year after we met. We have been happily married for 2 years so it all depends on the people and the situation. What I think you should do is wait alittle longer 3 months is a short time. Rather be safe then sorry. Some people can change. Don't rush it. If it is ment to be then it will be. Good luck =]

become best friends first, there are so many things to find out about each other, do u know what its like to marry someone and find out they sound like a chainsaw when they sleep, then ur stuck, date a yr at least
