As a child, I know that I have spent countless hours at academies and with tutors at my house as an attempt by my parents to go beyond. Most of these were forced things. So, will stuffing a child's mind with more education at an early age overpower their mind and cause them to hate work? if you are a parent, would you do this to your child? Does this have anything to do with psychology?

Yes it can, but its not that they hate work, its just that they burn out.
The child never learns how to amuse itself, to play, to give itself down time, becomes the nervous adult who is so busy having to be doing "something" that they loose themselves in the process. Or they turn to alcohol or drugs because they have been taught to fear the "nothingness". Its learns too early that its time has to be "productive" and amusement for its own sake is some sort of crime. They never learn to use their imagination, to relax, to chill out. To just look around them with wonder and amusement. To view the clouds passing by and imagine castles and dragons, and magical faraway lands. They can't sit back and watch the parade of life go by, they have to be constantly conducting it. Everything becomes viewed not as a pleasure, but yet another challenge to overcome. As a result they are like an over bright blast of lighted magnesium, brilliant, but all too short lived.
Let the children be children, for never in their life will it be a more appropriate time for them to be one. They don't have to live their whole lives for tomorrow, if it means that they have to keep wishing away their todays.

Help the children to appreciate education rather than stuffing them with academics. Whether they will hate work or not, you doesn't really know it when they are small. The focus that is more important in this phase of life is to let them have a balance and healthy lifestyle.

If you talk to a child for more then 30 minutes about the same subject it keeps building on and on and then suddenly they hate the whole subject. Try not to over lap cause it gets boring to them when u keep talking and talking about the same thing.
Good question, good luck

i think it's all about how you present learning. if it becomes a chore for the child, if it seems like work, this might happen.

but as humans, we all have a natural inclination toward learning. when education is presented to spur this natural curiosity, education becomes fun and kids want to learn.

in my opinion, that's the biggest flaw with grades in school. school becomes more about getting a grade (which is work) and less about learning out of interest and curiosity.

i think it just depends on the child. like my family was always supposedly "smart" in math, so i had to live up to that. i pushed myself, and i never really got to learn math the fun way. for instance, i became a tutor for 6th graders for my elective when i was in eighth grade, and they were playing all these games i'd never seen before.

while i know it's good that i'm smarter in math, it's also bad. everyone expects you to always do the best, and when you make one little mistake, everyone makes a big deal out of it. && everyone wants to know your grade and stuff. it's really pressuring.
