Love Hina is a personal favorite. It had great character development, a storyline that differed just enough from the manga to make it unique, and plenty o' fanservice and comedy. Too bad Akamatsu ended it so abruptly . . . Love Hina Again is worth checking out, if for no other reason than seeing if Keitaro and Naru ever become an item. There were also a couple of OVAs, winter and summer ones.

well if u like good action sequences Bleach definetly, i still watch naruto but i have to say bleach is better, however if you like the ones that question reality or are just messed up and deppressing, i like Neon genisis evangelion although its really well known and popular so thats not a huge suprise, ones that seem to be more real and life like where every thing isnt perfect, i like gungrave and maybe blue gender, although i liked the story and the characters it didn't have awesome animation however that shouldn't anyone from watching it, another alltime favorite is the outlaw star and of course trigun two 26 episode space westerns...

This is the best anime i have ever seen.. in no order

>Ergo Proxy (love it! great character development! and ergo proxzy kick ***)
>KIBA (Another great story with allot of action)
>Great Teacher Onizuka (Gangster boss want to be school teacher --funny as hell ^^ )
>Eureka Seven (love the music in this anime, great story line and character development)
>Hajime no Ippo (Great boxing actions and comedy! cheer for ippo!)
>Elemental Gelade (Great story line)
>Elfen Lied (got alot of nudity and blood, and i love it! "a masterpiece" )
>Rahxephon (also the movie) (big robots fights! blue blood? and romance)
>FMP! all season (funniest anime i have ever seen.!! lots of action too and some romance)
>Death Note (never knows what is gonna happend next, )
>Tsubasa Chronicle (Great story, character development! )

The best depends on the mood..

It depends.

One of the best newer ones I have seen is Bleach. Naruto is good until you hit the fillers. But the recent ones that have come out are pretty good and slowly redeeming it.

One of the best older ones that I have seen is Escaflowne. It's a totally underappreciated anime.

Hmm. I don't watch anime anymore, or rarely, since I'm usually not watching T.V but i did like Inuyasha and Bleach.
They mix the action and comedy, making it entertaining, lol.

Waaay back in junior high school (early 1970's), there was a show called Simba (Simba, the white lion was his name...). Other oldies... I mean, answerers might remember that show.

That was the best Japanese anime ever.

Nothing else since that show has been any good.
