This will not necessarily make it end, but it can help lessen it sometimes. That is, to take a bath (not a shower) twice a day. Like I say, it will just lessen it a bit...maybe.

First of all, using birth control to make your period shorter or make it not arrive at all is PERFECTLY fine.
When you're taking birth control it's not an actual period anyway, because you're not ovulating. The blood is "withdrawal bleeding" because the last week of pills is a placebo, so there's no hormones! BUT! You're still protected from pregnancy, etc.
There is no natural way or anything to shorten the duration of your periods.
The only way to actually end them forever, is to have a hysterectomy, which NO doctor will perform on a person who is young and hasn't had any kids, unless it was medically necessary.

Your question provides little information as to WHY you are wanting it to end, what the circumstance is....so I will GUESS.

If you have begun having periods, and your current time-of-the-month has lasted longer than 7 days,
it is time to see your Dr.

Excessive or continual bleeding can cause other health problems in your body, and it needs to get stopped,
sometimes a woman's body needs a little help to get her periods regulated.

Your Dr. will see that you have the hormone you are missing, that will tell your body to end your period.

Usually our bodies make the right hormones, but sometimes -- who knows why -- we need a little help.

This is the only way I know of to regulate or end your period that is lasting too long. I do not know of any use of teas or herbs that will provide what you need.

It occurs to me that there is a circumstance where the bleeding lasts longer. After giving birth a woman will "flow" for 4 - 6 weeks to clean out her body after the pregnancy.

There is no Natural way ! Sorry ..just like the other girl said do you mean end sooner or end for good ! If you want it to end sooner you might be able to take a certain birth control ..but that is not healthy at all !! and if you want it to end for good you have to wait till you are in your 50's !~ Hope this helps !! Good luck !

there is no natural way, do you mean make it end earlier each time, or you want to never have a period again?

Be patient! It doesn't get much more natural than that.
