It's a scary thing to think about because no one knows. Those that do know aren't alive to tell us....confusing stuff.
This is where you tap into your idea of religion or any higher being you believe in. Honestly it scares the **** out of me, but in the realm of Religion I should not be scared of it because my actions in this life will work for me in the here after, and I'm trying all I can to do good now.

I think about it a lot. But not with fear as I know the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal savior. Have you ever asked Him into your life? I did many years ago and He has helped me and blessed me a lot. I suggest reading the Bible (New Testament first). Here are some verses you might want to look up on the subject: Psalm 23:4, Psalm 48:14, 1 Corinthians 15:55, John 8:51, Romans 10:13, Romans 5:8, Romans 3:23, John 3:16, Hebrews 9:27.

Reality settling in?
I've been thinking about death a lot lately. I recently found out that an old friend is dying of liver cancer and then when I went to work today I found out this guy who was just 22 died in a car wreck today. Yesterday no one would have thought the 22 year old would be gone before the terminal guy. Today that is what it is. Life is precious, death can be sudden.
Someone told me once that Death laughs at all of us, all we can do is smile back.

I think everyone thinks about it at one time or another.
I did toy with thoughts of suicide when I was a teen. So, when I was in 11th grade, I did my term paper on Death and Dying and how cultures around the world dealt with it.

It also made me question the existence of a god. I was raised in a Conservative Jewish family and had become quite agnostic over the years.

When I posed the question of the existence of a god to the empty sky, I received a very clear answer. And death and life and the purposes of each have made perfect sense ever since.

Everbody does, to come to think about it. Try to reason it, talk with a lot of people in different religion backgrounds. Think about where their ideas come from? Drugs, beliefs, luck from their death or from something mysterious and beautiful. The world may never know and to come think, NO WORRIES. I believe in reliving life once again, why are we alive in the first place? We came from our mother's womb righit? From Darkness to Light just like the Bible. Before there was no space, not one thing, god said "LET THERE BE LIGHT" and so on and so on. From darkness to light, just like everyday life, night day night day. Lalachi said, its like your in a DEEP SLEEP, i totally agree, and sometime you will wake up and rise and cry, and breathe. This is what i believe. All the religions are beautiful to study, very good and interesting, the buddah, jesus, everything but this is what i believe. Im sorry if you guys are insulted but my beliefs but this is how i personally look at afterlife. Reason with it ya know? I totally agree with the girl ABOVE me! NO WORRIES, i love the lion king, educational, Akunamatata

Yes. Not suicidally. I'm 70, and have emphysema with very low lung efficiency. I cough a lot, sometimes makes me black out. I'm not afraid of death, just would like to have some idea of how much time I have.

Everybody thinks about death after a certain age, say above 40 i.e slowly when their body becomes unhealthy due to some diseases. My advice is to think about it often as we will not escape from it.Anytime it may occur.Instead of fearing it, be prepared to face it.It's only a deep sleep.

yeah i try to think about death to start my day - i treat every day as the last of the rest of my life.

this gives you perspective on doing only what matters most to you.

it's not a bad thing.
