My ex bf spent 3 years with me, while being in love with his best friend (a girl)....always treated me badly, because I was "convenient" for him....
He moved to S Korea to teach English...and once he did, I called the girl up and got answers to all the questions I had unanswered when he was here.....Best revenge: I became very good friends with her.

PS - he speaks to neither of us now, and I'm still very good friends with her.

Well about 6 years ago, my fiance was having an obsession with the Internet. I would go to bed, and he would still be on "chatting". Finally I wanted to know who he was talking to so I asked him. He said, "oh just a friend". I then got suspicious. I decided to sneak up on him and check it out. He would quickly close out the window. So one day I was at my mothers and made up a fake aim account. I saw him come on and waited a while, to make it look like I wasn't waiting for him. After a while I started talking to him....acting like I was some girl. I set up a place to meet him. Never in my wildest dreams, did I think he would actually be there. Well I showed up and his face DROPPED. So I did get my revenge. I told him that if he EVER tried that again, he had better watch out, because I might have hired the person. Now most people would say I should have broken off the wedding. We had a child though and decided to go through with it. So far so good. I haven't been able to notice any suspicious behavior from him. So I did get my revenge. It was fun getting him in the act, but I was broken hearted for a long time that he did it too me.

It. Was. Excellent.

It wasn't serious revenge, I only get revenge for things that people have purposely done with the intent of something bad happening. If it was an accident, I forgive and forget, no matter what it was.

Nope. It is actually a sour taste because you are still angry over the come-uppings you got in the first place.

I just lost 12 points for some jerk reporting me for a violation of a Yahoo answer. This guy always complains about one thing or another. Asks questions and then refutes and argues everyone's answers. He has asked the same question for the past week at least 3 times. Rather then ignore him, I simply answered SIGH. I got reported. So, I went back and reported EVERY answer in the area that was inappropriate on every question I could. All I did was work myself up into a lather.

Why do you ask?

Revenge is *not* sweet, it leaves a bitter, sickly aftertaste. My time & energy are better spent elsewhere unless you mean the so-called *best* revenge: Living well (it would bug the heck outta your enemies better than anything U could do *to* 'em).

You know there is an old saying, when you plot revenge dig two graves. Revenge is not all that sweet most the time, it is counter productive and it gives the other person that much more power over you.

Not at all. Revenge only tastes sweet.
But once it travels throughout the digestive system
it starts to burn the stomach as it metabolizes into
the bitter pill that it truly is. Peace.

Revenge is not sweet. I believe in Karma and refuse to do anything revengeful to anyone as I would not want it to come back around to me 3 times worst!!

Yes. I got revenge on my ex-bf by pretending we were on the road to getting back together while sabotaging his life behind his back. He totally deserved everything I did, but I felt awful. The thing was, I wasn't really over him, and by doing all the mean things I did, I burned my bridges with him. I regret it sometimes, though I'm still angry at him for having treated me so badly during our relationship.
