(which does sometimes happen fri and sat night) anyways, can anyone think of how i could out if hes really at work?? i dont want to confront him, in case im wrong. and i cant call his work because he works for a place that wont connect me with a human this late.

Don't be suspicious of him because it will drive a wedge between you.

I advise your not trying to find out if he is really at work. You married this man and did not consider him a liar so why start doubting him now? Give him the benefit of the doubt.

Make plans to see the movie together on Sunday afternoon and just enjoy.

Good Luck

Really? You are jealous he is at the movies? Trust him. Or, check the bank account in a few days and see if there were any transactions when he was supposedly at work. Did he pay with a credit card at the theater?
Does it really matter if he saw a movie? There are such bigger problems in a marriage. If that is the biggest problem you have, I'd say you guys are A-ok.

lol @ popcorn. why would he have to lie to you to go to the movies? suspiciousness will kill a relationship and it fuels itself the more you give into it. do not set him up to tell a lie, though. do not say to him how was work if you do not think he was there. you could tell him, honey, i was feeling ______ because for a while tonight i had this feeling you were not in work. in a marriage you should always feel free to express your feelings even if they seem neurotic. do not snoop on him. its insulting. be up front, respect him and in the future, the next time he yammers about a new movie why dont you suggest you two go on a movie date.

If you bank online you can sign on and see what his debit/atm card transactions have been...see if he has taken any money out of the bank recently (this evening) or made any purchases....you can also go to his work and see if his car is there...you can go to the local theatres and look for his car as well...

Best bet is to smell him when he comes home...see if you detect the faint aroma of popcorn.

I think you should drop to your knees, bow your head, and thank God that this is the biggest problem in your life right now.

Seriously, who cares? There is no reasonable, sane way to prove that's he at work and not watching a movie (LOL, that sounds so funny). You said you don't want to confront him in case you're wrong. There ya go. Leave it be.

Sounds like he's hiding something....
Why would he not want you know he's at the movies?
I think as a woman we all have our inner gut.
You think something is not adding up, you may be on to something...
Do you have your own ride or a friends...
This may sound a bit crazy...
But I would follow him one night after work ...Just to see what's real...
Do this a few times..If you come up with nothing then it may just be you...And you can just say yea its something crazy in your mind...

Good Luck~

It does sound a little paranoid. Is there some problem with him going to see a movie after work? ......

I guess you could check his breath for popcorn when he gets home. Thats a sure sign!
