Not at first, but given the only other option is not living blind which means dead, I would deal with it.

I've thought about it over the years, especially after a HS friend lost his sight. I think I could adjust to blindness much easier than losing my hearing.

I'd miss driving and reading the most, but there are ways around the reading lol

You would deal with it, anyone would, its human nature. How often do you hear of someone with missing limbs committing suicide? Not too often. Notice how every person on their death bed with a terminal disease is labelled a hero because they have a good attitude. The human brain deals with it, it had to when we were primitive cave men and it has to now, its a survival mechanism braught about by natural selection. Being nearly dead and happy is therefore worthy of no recognition.

Yes. I would detest it to the bottom of my heart with a vengeance I would scream at it's arbitrary decision to take my eyes away from me, but I would deal with it.
I would have to. That or slowly die a withering death that would render the value of my life as ....less than ashes.

Guess I'd have to.
I'd rather go blind than deaf, that's for sure.
