Guy Laughs/Smiles Across Room?

Question

What does it mean when someone makes a joke in class and a guy starts laughing, smiling and looking at me from across the room? I caught him and did the same back. He kept a smile. I've talked to him before but we're not close at all. Thoughts?

Sounds like he may have a crush on you and he was checking to see if you was laughing at the joke.
Him keeping a smile at you, he likes you.

but it he has done this on more than one occasion,, then he must be shy and wants to talk to u..

U might approach him.. and say hi.. after class..
