Not really an issue with me. I do like to check back later and see the others if I do get a first answer.

With people like you I don't care, I know you will look at my answer, coming from one of you mates, and you pick BA's and I like that.
With the shallow people I do like to be up near the top as the voting system has degenerated.
Too many voters just vote for the first answer to get the point.

Yeah I think it is nice to be the first one to answer. If you are one of the last people to answer, your answer doesn't get read as much and even the greatest of advice can go unnoticed. Also, since they don't get seen, they don't get voted for as a best answer!! There goes 10 points!!

I would not mind if my answer is 2nd or 3rd and so on .
The only thing I would find disappointing is when the asker doesn't bother reading anything that is on the 2nd page.
That will be really sad . :-(

Dude, you've got some issues. Grow up. I hate to be the one to tell you this, but if you're gonna be answering questions the way you answered mine, you can go to the little kids part of this site.

It doesn't matter to me whether it's first or last. All that really matters is if my answers really help someone.

No, I don't care about trivial things like that.
Who cares whose first, or last for that matter.

I thought others would see it, but actully it is not neccessary, those will still see the answer when they see the answer.
