I asked a teacher (who was talking about normal referring to people) one time when I was in junior high I think. He said," i don't know whatever it is it's definitely not you!" Ha Ha
I'm proud to be unique.

But seriously normalcy is just something that people in power set to try to force society to conform but most people don't actually realize that because they are taught norms and values from birth.

Normal is everyone's own individual perception of normalcy. But since everyone's perception is different, no one has the same idea of what's normal. So there is such a thing as normal, in that every person has things they think are normal and things they think are not. But at the same time, there is nothing that everyone agrees is normal or is not. So you could look at it either way, really.

normal expectation of society is shifting as time goes by like its not acceptable to walk round naked but if you smoke a joint the cops wont bust in your door if you get what i mean.
society creates a cocoon round people who obey laws set down so they can be creative and experiment or live safely,if you understand how society opperates you can see the flaws however the benifits are communal. libraries theatres parks roads family peace stability for those whom adhere.if you sell drugs and kill people and smash other peoples property well that is where the hard edge of the system is turned apon its citizens to remind them that it is a priviledge not a right to walk free in this land

I think everybody has a different idea as to what normal is. And it has nothing to do with forcing people to conform.

Well normal is what is usually thought of as average and similar but in truth no one is the same and no one is average at everything so it seems no one is normal.

What is normal lies within the person's perspective. We often generalize that word because the general population agrees that one thing can be labled "normal".

Individuality IS normal because no two people are the same.
