and Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Those two are the only ones who actually scared me.
Anything else (Chucky, Halloween, Freddy, Scream, I know what you did last summer) is more funny and cheesy than it is scary.

honestly, i don't dig horror movies, but i sat through the Ring, Sleepy Hollow and From Hell etc. with no problem, but i still cannot get through Alien. that movie scares the p00p out of me.
