This girl is family friends from decades.We are friends,few years back fell in love.When we have to meet she makes plans or asks me to make plans but i talk about everything except confirm our meeting.Ive seen her,i love her but i dig my heels in talk other things when time to confirm our meet.Shes no idea till day we meet if ill be there or not.Why do i act this way?I love her when i want to see her i go to place where shell be.We are both single,shes mid 20s,im mid 30s,live 2 different cities.We have to meet soon i love her.Whats going on with me please explain.

you're probably just afraid. unfortunately, you're the only one that can fix that - if you wanna see her, go see her. if she's putting up with you acting like a cat that doesn't wanna take a bath for this long... she must at least like you back ^.^
stop being so difficult and just go with it. open up and let her in. granted, there is a possibility that it may not work out, but would it be worth it if it did? think about that. i wish you luck.

I wonder, do you feel shy around others as well? Or perhaps it is just her.You need to sit and write a list of reasons why you should be together and why you should not. why did you separate before? It could be that you were hurt then and afraid to let yourself get too attached now for fear of getting hurt again.
you can try taking small steps to stop acting that way a little at a time - be the one to set up a place for you to meet, for example and be there. She sounds like someone special and you have to work on being more comfortable and work with her more or the day will come when she will get tired of waiting for you and you will lose her. Good luck and have confidence in yourself.

Sounds like you are afraid to commit. To begin a relationship and possibly get hurt.
One day you will have to give a piece of yourself when you least expect it...and yes, you can get hurt. Sometimes really bad...
