2 Sticks of 1GB 800

well, it depends on what your motherboard can handle. the sticks you have run at different speeds. if it supports both, go for the 2 sticks of 1gb. ddr2 800 runs much faster than ddr2 667. also, i heard somewhere that the more slots are filled, the better. i think thats a myth tho, not really sure.

the 2 stick option as long as your motherboard supports the speed.
a) the clock speed is faster therefore more info in less time
b) each slot has a certain amount of data that can move through it in a certain amount of time. 2 cards transferring 600kb seperatly (300kb each) is going to much faster than one card transferring 600kb on its own

2 sticks, if your board supports dual channel memory, then this will be best as you will gain better memory speed.
