Yes, I do.

Yes, because they are usually wrong. I am a writer and I am qualified to teach two languages. If there is one thing I am very good at, it is grammar. When someone 'corrects' me and they make my grammar incorrect, I pull out the Chicago Manual of Style and correct them.

That doesn't mean I object to using words such as gonna, gotta, wanna, ain't, and y'all. Language is defined by usage, not dictionaries and grammar books. I am bothered more by mistakes that make a person seem uneducated or make them difficult to understand.

Not really....90% of the time I take the time to proofread my writings before I post them....that, and there's this magical little device that allows you to check your spelling....look in the upper right hand corner of the text box you are typing in and click on the words "Check Spelling" and you won't ever have to cry about someone making fun of your spelling...ever again.

As far as grammar and syntax.....don't even get me started! Are they not teaching English Composition in High School anymore??

And Bricktop would be a perfect example of how butchery of the English language has become acceptable....and the norm.

i think of it somewhat is purely flat out impolite to easily appropriate someones grammar besides! Is it somewhat that undesirable if somebody says something somewhat incorrect? massive deal! There are extra considerable issues in existence! I had somebody that used to appropriate my grammar consistently and that i became and ENGLISH considerable whilst i became in college (no longer asserting i be attentive to each little thing, purely asserting i will communicate with some experience). i do no longer even think of each and every little thing he corrected became precise. i ultimately sat him down sooner or later and instructed him that i did no longer sense the could desire to pursue a friendship with somebody it somewhat is desperate to objective and be mentally stronger. that won't what a friendship is besides. He stopped correcting my grammar.

My grammar isn't too bad, so I'll usually notice other people's mistakes (but I don't care to correct them). I remember last year I was on the tennis team, and there was this really stuck-up girl who thought she was so smart (and secrety sucked at math) that was playing. I told her she was doing good, and she yelled that "it's well, not good". That seriously annoyed me. She really wasn't that good anyway.

Unless it's extreme, I think it's a petty thing to concern yourself with someone else. It's not worth hurting someone's feelings over. It's obviously a mistake or limited education. Either way....why be cruel. There's worse things in life and if I'm going to get cruel I'll save it for that.

I don't really get corrected on my grammar or spelling, but I do correct other people, they get mad.

i do since most of the time it's dialect... accent and casual talk.

those who do the correcting are always incorrect anyways. they can't tell the difference between gramma and all those things that make a person unique.

people talk differently all over the world... i wish folks would get that through their thick heads.

Not particularly.
I am a Substitute Teacher and I have practiced CORRECT GRAMMAR all my life.
I am also a TOASTMASTER, which helps me to better focus my grammatical etiquette when I am "in the real world."
