There are many many idiots out there. I experience it sometimes, but I do live in New England so it makes it tougher for people to say.

Hey... ya know, I've been a Patriots fan as long as I can remember & definitely the last several years it's been very frustrating not only sometimes being called a bandwagon fan, but listening to our team being disrespected on what seems like a 24/7 basis. I guess what you have to realize there are always gonna be those kinda fans out there that try to make you feel that way. This is what happens with ANY team that becomes a dynasty... people hate them, no matter what good people they might be they will try to switch it around and say anything to bring them down a notch. What some fans don't realize is that saying this stuff about the Patriots, or any dynasty for that matter, is what makes people say the annoying things that they say they can't stand about our the fans around here in New England. It's the BAD fans on both ends that ruin things... the ones that say bad things about our team and the ones that talk crap and act like our team is the best that ever played. Your always gonna have people that harp on things that don't have any bearing on the game... like the people that keep on insisting on us cheating, well... what does it say about the people that say when every week they get better and this is the best the Patriots have EVER played without the "cheating"? Makes them look really stupid... and they are the ones that will be sitting silent when the Patriots win another Superbowl, while we are celebrating and getting drunk with our friends. And I invite any other TRUE football fan to join... the Pats don't have to be your team, but as long as you respect them and understand... hey... these guys are awesome, pretty cool watching them do what they do.

Yes i hear yah man , i've been a season ticket holder since 1989 when i could start to afford them i've been to every game except 2 due to weddings in the family now .Now i know the Pats and Indy rival goes back to the AFC EAST days where they both were fighting to be forth in the division they both were bottom of the barrel teams .. And personally i think it's great to see both teams doing an outstanding job at this time ,as we all know it eventually comes to an end but i as a Patriots Fan am salivating on how well they are doing right now ....i do feel really bad for there opponents on this years schedule .....15-1 is my prediction ...Don Shula and his 72 dolphins can drink champagne week 17 when the Giants beat the Pats 2nd string Because they will have home field thru the play-offs wrapped up by week 14 and the Starters will be sitting trust me on that

Don't worry, I've been a Charger fan since I was a kid, but as a kid I couldn't afford Jerseys and my parents thought it was a waste of money. I was finally able to go to games right around when Ryan Leaf showed up and LT showed up, but still couldn't afford a Jersey. So that's okay as I hated Ryan Leaf with a passion.
I get a great job about three years ago, bought a few jerseys, and people think I'm a bandwagoner. I still supported them this year despite losing 3 straight. People were trying to sell their season tickets during that time even more than usual. Now THAT's bandwagon.
I try not to let it bother me. The people that call you a bandwagoner are probably bandwagoners themselves, and don't even know the Drew Bledsoe years of the Pats, or even the first time Flutie was a Pat. If Bledsoe didn't get hurt, would there even be a Brady in NE? We may never know.

Absolutely!!! Just because a team starts to win doesnt mean that every single fan is a bandwagon. Dont listen to those people, they are just jealous that no other team has a chance to beat the pats (well maybe the colts).

I haven't yet, then again, I like the Chiefs. I hope I have your problem someday, at least it will mean my team is winning, which brings me to my point. Your team is winning, just enjoy it and don't worry about what other people say. You seem to be keeping your pride in check, and you seem seem pretty reasonable and respectful. That's what people get irritated with, fans who are rude and disrespectful just because their team is better. Just because they like a winning team doesn't make them winners, but it seems like they think that way sometimes. I am so not a Patriots fan, but I try to respect their fans if they respect me. Don't let it bug you dude.

It always happens. Dont worry about it. Ive always been a Ohio state fan and now they call me a bandwagon. Ive always been a Met fan and last year when they did good everyone told me i was on the banwagon. Im a Uconn fan for basketball and when they do good they just say im on the bandwagon. Dont worry about it. As long as you know your not on the bandwagon.

Yes but if you will notice when all is said and done you can sit back with the satisfaction of knowing that your team stomped a mud hole in their opponents a** and their fans are falling off their bandwagons

Yeah I get it all the time... On Yahoo Answers... Just people who are jealous of the Patriots... Don't pay attention to them... I never get it when walking down the streets of Boston... But I laught at all those morons who wear those dumb hats with the Yankee symbols on them... cause there is no real Yankee fan who lives in Boston... those are all bandwagon fans most likely...
