I mean their learned behaviors, decision making process, or is that something that can only be changed if the person recognizes what is wrong?

Aye,
Yes And No.
If You Could Just Enlighten Me On What Kind Of Thing Your Wanting To Change The I Can Give You A More Thorough Answer.
For I've No Idea Whether This Is Simply Something That You Think Is Wrong Personally;
Like Say Them Deciding Not To Believe In God.
Or It Could Be Something That's Hurting Them;
Like Planning A Suicide Bomb Or Something(Lmao, idk)

Or You Could Mean Something Different Altogether...
But It's Kind Of Hard To Answer This Without The Details.

Well.... You cant change someone if they dont want to be changed... and honestly Im not really sure if you can ever change someone.... They have to want it bad enough to get out of the mindset or situation they are in. (I go over this with my boyfriend too, god sometimes I wish we could change all men by a snap of the fingers dont you?) You cant change their decision making process, unfortunately they were trained like that for so long.... its going to be really hard and a chanlenge to even attempt

A person can only change themself if it's truly something THEY want to do.
If you want a person to change - then you do not need that person as a friend. You should NEVER talk someone into changing themselves - it will only confuse them and make them upset. Just focus on yourself and leave others alone.

A person can change. But, he has to make the choice.
No one changes at the behest of another unless he can see it will go better for himself or fit with his plan. And the change can be for the better or for the worse.
C. :)!!

Probably not, James.They have to make that decision for themselves.Still, you could offer a suggestion or two and see how the person responds.

if the person is willing to change and actually puts an effort, then yes. but if not, then he/she will be stuck in his/her ways, and as he/she gets older, it will get harder to change...its kind of like the phrase "u cant teach an old dog new tricks", but there is always a possiblity, as they say "if there is a will, there is a way"
