Formal wear, light makeup, and shoes to match. The Opera is a divine experience if you dress formal and blend not stand out. I love live Opera and have been several times.....Open your mind to the opportunity....I live to far away now.....but don't worry so much about the dress as your attitude....

Have fun!

I'd suggest semi-formal, wear a nice long dress(maybe simple prom or cocktail style) or a two piece dressy outfit, make your hair and makeup look nice and carry a little clutch purse.

I would go online abd check out that particular opera house.
Dress code varies - some operahouses are very formal [ gowns ] others are casual [ jeans ].

Wear something elegant, not too flashy. You can wear metallic tones so long as it's not sequins and garish.

Make sure it fits really well otherwise it will look cheap and you'll be self-conscious
